The capture is about two owlets who fall out of their nest, one owl is a barn owl that's name is Soren, and the other is an elf owl, named Gyfly. When they fall out of their nests they are taken to a place far far away from home and are forsed to be slaves. The master of their new home is trying to hypnotise them so they stay there for ever. They try to learn how to fly Soren is doing good but Gyfly has some trouble landing. On their journey they meet some friends and some not so friends. Do they ever get home? What will happen will they ever see their family again?
I enjoyed this book because I like books about animal adventures. The author made me feel sad at some parts and that's good writing. There were also some exciting parts, for example, when Soren was attacked by another owl he was almost killed. I would recommend this book to kids who like to read adventure books with a great story. If you like this book, there are many others in the series. I would rate this book 8 out of 10.
